Will my insurance cover a virtual doctor?
Many states now lawfully require insurance companies to provide equal coverage for virtual and regular visits. Rainey Day Doc does not accept insurance and offers only fee per visit or subscription based services. We can provide you a receipt and necessary documentation for HSA/FSA account usage.
How does it work?

What is the Vsee?
Vsee is your simple, secure connection to your doctor. It's a HIPPA compliant two-way video conferencing system that allows Rainey Day Doc to give you quick and convenient treatment. You don’t even have to brush your teeth.
Tech is not my thing – do I need to be savvy to use Vsee or the patient portal?
Gosh, no! Rainey Day Doc and doxy.me was designed for everyone to use easily. Think, the convenience of Skype plus few more goodies.

Is my sensitive information protected?
You bet it is. Our app is 100% Hippa compliant, which means your personal medical details will always be kept completely safe.
What’s the deal with payments?
When creating your account, you’ll be asked to give your credit card details, from which we’ll deduct a flat rate fee of $75 following every urgent care visit unless you have a monthly subscription. Of course, we only charge if we can treat and advise.
Can my doctor prescribe medication via this virtual appoint?
Absolutely. If your healthcare provider needs to, she/he can send an electronic prescription to your preferred pharmacy for convenient pick-up. Thanks to our growing pharmacy partnerships, you may also have the option to have your prescription delivered or overnighted to your home. Just like Santa.
Does an Rainey Day Doc require special equipment?
To have a virtual appointment, you’ll need a few virtual appointment-enabling items. Just the basics though, promise!

- Microphone (also, often built in)
Wait, but what about a physical exam?
Good point. Truth is, many medical conditions can be diagnosed and treated without the need for an exam. Although, telemedicine is a great alternative to sitting in traffic and waiting at your local doctor's office, it doesn't replace the need for an in-person visits to treat special medical concerns. Don't worry, If we can't treat or advise you, you won't be charged for the visit.
